ABOUT ME

Hello!
My name is Caroline Tong. I am a Registered Massage Therapist based in Richmond, British Columbia.

I am passionate about learning how to live a more dynamic and fulfilling life, and I'm dedicated to helping my clients do the same.

I graduated from the 3000-hour RMT program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2019. I have since then been offering massage therapy services at an established multidisciplinary clinic as well as a luxury wellness spa.

My practice revolves around evidence-based care and interprofessional collaborations. I am experienced in treating neuromuscuoloskeletal concerns, motor-vehicle accident related injuries, and chronic pain management.

Outside of the clinic, you can find me playing tennis, road cycling, practicing yoga, or on an outdoor adventure! I also love to experiment with recipes from different cultural cuisines and explore like a local at my next travel destination.

I look forward to being a part of your rehabilitation journey in health and wellness!

I am fluent in English and Cantonese.

MY APPROACH
In my practice, I welcome clients from all walks of life and have a special focus in sports rehabilitation and pain science. Whether you’re a high-level athlete, or an office worker, I will work closely with your goals to develop an individualized treatment plan. This will ensure that you are one step closer to getting back to what you love doing and your normal everyday life.

I do this by educating on healthy lifestyle choices to improve your overall well-being. By implementing a holistic approach, I am able to integrate the connection between biopsychosocial factors and treat each individual as a whole instead of solely focusing on localized symptoms.

I believe that in order to feel better physically and mentally, you must have the ability to move better and manage day-to-day stressors.

At your initial visit, I will perform an in-depth health history and physical assessment to provide a patient centred and informed treatment plan. Treatment will focus on addressing the origin of the pain through a variety of manual techniques such as:

-
Myofascial Release
-
Neuromuscular Technique
-
Swedish
-
Orthopedics
-
Joint Mobilization
-
Passive & Active Assisted Dynamic Stretch
